Emmy Nominated and PAGE Award Winning Screenwriter and Novelist

Hello. On this site you’ll find blogs, books and career credits. If you want to talk about writing get in touch. A bit more about me below.

I completed a Creative Writing MA at the University of East Anglia in 2012 and I have written for radio, TV, online, and advertising. I have developed stories with some of the UK's leading TV production companies and in 2016 I won the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, and was a finalist in 2017.

I’ve worked with Romesh Ranganathan on his Sky One series The Reluctant Landlord, writing episode 4 of series 2, and I’ve written on CBBC shows Lagging and The Dumping Ground.

A one-off I co-wrote about Muhammad Ali called The Greatest Of All Time was broadcast on Sky Arts in early 2017 as part of the Urban Myths season. It was an adaptation of a true story when he tried to talk a suicidal man down from a 9th floor ledge and was part of the season that was International Emmy nominated in 2018.

I’m a visiting lecturer at The London Film School, The Central School of Speech and Drama, NYU, and I have also given masterclasses at UEA and the National Film and Television School.

If you're interested in writing I share my experiences over on my blog. From writing habits to good books to read on it, there should be something you can enjoy or disagree with and I repeatedly contradict myself.
